‘Krrish’ is the sequel of the super hit sci- fi movie ‘Koi Mil Gaya’. In Krrish, Rohit and Nisha Mehra are married and they have one child called Krrish.
Nisha and Rohit die and they leave their son Krrish with his grandmother, Rekha who takes care of him. As Krrish grows up, he finds out that he has extraordinary powers, speed and intelligence.
In the movie, Krrish loves the serene beauty of the mountains and loves to trek and mountaineer on a regular basis. This is so because he has spent his life in the country side.
One fine day, Krrish sees Priya, played by Priyanka Chopra. She is on a trekking trip from Singapore. Krrish falls in love with her at the first sight.
After her trip is over, Priya leaves for Singapore and Krrish is heart broken. His grandmother can’t see him like this and forces him to go to Singapore and search for Priya.
Krrish then goes to Singapore and finds the place totally new and different but he soon adjusts himself there and makes a few friends too. These friends help him to find Priya and Krrish also gets involved in saving the people from the inevitable villain. The movie then concentrates on how he deals with his power and saves the world from a villain (Naseeruddin Shah).
Krrish continues his fight with the evil and a nation wide search is conducted to find out the masked super hero.
Hrithik Roshan has done immensely well in the movie. He is seen playing different roles in the film. This includes the role of an old man, the young guy from Koi Mil Gaya, a village boy; a Singapore based fashionable guy and a superhero. You will surely like Hrithik in the film and will fall in love with him all over again.
Priyanka Chopra has acted well too. She plays a typical big city girl and has a few grey shades to her. Though she uses Krrish for her own selfish motives, yet she can’t help but be touched by his honesty and innocence. She comes across as a confused girl rather than someone who is bad.
The music of the film is average but not that great as ‘Koi Mil Gaya’. The background music of the film is composed by the musician duo of Salim-Sulaiman.
All in all, it’s a film worth watching.
