Enjoying temporary work in Canada

Each year more than 90,000 foreign workers immigrate to Canada to work on a temporary basis in the jobs that can help the Canadian employers to address the skill shortages. Work permit is required for most of the temporary jobs in this place though for many business people or positions, it is not essential. Some of the temporary workers need a work experience while others do not. For some fields of workers, the permit is approved more easily and quickly. The processing and needs time depends on the type of work the applicants will do after coming to Canada.

There is difference between moving to Canada like a business person and like a business visitor. In order to apply for the work permit from places outside Canada, the applicants need to submit the documents including:

Completed application showing the requirements of Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations and Immigration and Refugee Protection Act

Job from the Canadian employer

Written confirmation from the HRSDC Human Resources and Social Development Canada that employer can easily hire the foreign worker

You can even apply for the work permit from the Canadian boundaries itself including having the work permit for a job but wish to apply for the permit for some different job.

Being in Canada as you have applied for the permanent residence from Canada itself:

You will require passing the specific stages in main application procedure before being eligible for the work permit
Having a temporary permit of residence which is valid for a period of 6 months or so
Having valid work or study permit or the parents or spouse having the work or study permit

You can also apply for the work permit while entering Canada however only if you fulfill the requirements including temporary exempt resident visa and holding a labor market idea from HRSDC.
