Main accused of Satyendra Dubey flees from jail

Patna,Bihar:-Mantu Kumar, main accused in the murder of NHAI whistleblower Satyendra Dubey, has escaped after giving a slip to the police at the civil court premises, Beur Jail in Patna.

Kumar apparently fled when he was taken to the court of the Additional District Judge along with three others by jail authorities.

Raids are being carried out at different places to capture him.

The special public prosecutor for CBI said the agency had chargesheeted Kumar and three others in the murder.

Engineer Dubey was engaged in a project with the highway authorities, when he was attacked after he wrote to the Prime Minister about corruption in the golden quadrilateral project two years ago.
