Kate Moss is back at it and she is one of the best in it. Yes, its modeling, her profession I am talking about. One of the most recognizable face on the circuit secretly flew to the Spanish island of Ibiza to shoot for Italian designer Roberto Cavalli's spring and summer collection 2006, for photos to appear next year in magazines, including Vogue and W. She was in a rehab center for a month and left it on October 27, after Moss owned up to her addiction to drugs and vowed to get her life back on track. She checked herself into The Meadows clinic outside Phoenix, Arizona in September.
The model was accompanied by her 3- year old daughter Lila Grace, was staying in a luxury villa and was driven to the island's most picturesque spots for the shoot. She has been busy after coming out of the rehab center and has been flying around Europe for her shoots. A source was quoted as saying, "Since coming out of rehab Kate has been offered loads of contracts and has been flying around Europe doing various shoots. It's exhausting, but Kate is a professional. She wants to put the past where it belongs and look to the future. Kate has a busy workload over the next six weeks in Los Angeles, New York, Paris and Florence."
"Kate looks absolutely fantastic. She is confident and stylish and she works well with the Cavalli look. She is back working and doing what she does best and, like usual, she was really professional," Cavalli said about the shoot.
Stuart Higgins, a spokesman for the model, said Moss would not make any public comment about her experience in the clinic or her work.
She will be back in magazines this month when she appears in the Vanity Fair magazine and also the prestigious Pirelli Calendar will be released on November 18 which features her. Images for the prestigious calendar were shot before British tabloid The Mirror printed photos alleging to show Moss snorting cocaine, but Pirelli opted to keep her in its calendar. Moss had earlier lost contracts with some companies including Hennes & Mauritz AB and Chanel SA after the drug allegations became public.
