Angelina Jolie had thought that beau Brad Pitt would be a lot like the self absorbed stars in Hollywood, and readily admits that her impression of him was wrong. Jolie reveals to a magazine that she had never picked Brad to be the kind of person who would be interested in politics, or helping other people, or would even make a good father. However, she realized how just badly she had judged him soon after they started working on the sets of Mr. and Mrs. Smith. “I wouldn’t have from a distance, said, ‘That’s a man who would be an amazing, dedicated father,’ or ‘that’s a man who truly loves helping other people or whom I’d love to talk politics with.’ He’s a lot more than people assume he is,” she said. And the actor has certainly been one of her rocks, especially after she lost her mother earlier this year.
