What chances do i have?

Tell me what chances do i have abroad? I am doing History honours from a reputed college in Amritsar. I shall graduate in two years. I want to go to US or New Zealand for further studies. Do I have to clear any exam? If so, then what and how much money will it cost?
Also, guide me with procedure to apply and related.
