Help me know the immigration procedures.

I am planning to migrate to Canada along with my wife, and in this respect I need the correct informaion related to immigration procedures. I have certain related queries, such as:
(1) Immigration procedure that would help me get there without much complications involved in way.
(2) As we are established doctors, do we need to get the job there first and then migrate, or is would it be safe if I move there then apply for it.
