Unnecessary UK Immigration appeals ended by the UKBA

United Kingdom, 26th May: The UK Border Agency is going to put an end to the unnecessary immigration appeals with immediate effect.

This was revealed by the UK immigration minister Damian Green.

Move aimed to stop misuse of UK immigration system--Speaking about the issue, the UK immigration minister said that all unnecessary appeals will be ended in the UK by putting a full stop on late evidence consideration.

The aim of this move is to curb the increasing misuse of UK immigration system, Mr. Green urged. The UKBA (UK Border Agency) has stated placing a full-stop on all asylum as well as UK immigration appeals with effect from 23rd May onwards.

The decision comes following revelation that around two-third of the total appeals get approved by the judges primarily for late evidence submitted. So, what seems quite evident is that majority of such immigration and asylum appeals in the UK are unnecessary appeals.

The new rule will ensure that the applications are make right at the very first-time and an appropriate choice is also made at the very first time.

The new UK immigration rule will become applicable to all the applications within the nation under the new five-tier PBS(Points Based System).

Tax payers to be relieved of the burden of asylum system—And this new UK immigration rule also spells good news for taxpayers in the UK who were, for long, burdened unnecessarily for supporting the asylum system of the nation by funding the expensive and unnecessary appeals. It is not appropriate that taxpayers in the UK be burdened to pay for the appeals and the administrative bill, Mr. Green asserted.

So, the new rule says goodbye to the earlier practice followed by a majority of UK immigrants furnishing new evidence at the last moment. However, migrants in the UK will still have the provision to make a second appeal but they will be charged for doing so.

The new move is part of several improvisations planned by the UK immigration department in the coming times. The latest UK immigration ruling will make it imperative to ensure that applications made initially are correct and in proper order before being submitted to the UKBA.
