UK will gain 1 million more immigrants by 2015

United Kingdom, 4th May: At least one million immigrants will become added to the total migrant population of the UK by the end of 2015, a recent study has cautioned.

The reason for this imminent increase in the UK immigration figures is the open door policy on UK immigration by Gordon Brown.
The estimates reveal that the number of those living in the UK will swell to 64.3 million by 2015 from the present figures of nearly 62.2 million.
And the contribution of UK immigration in this likely increase in the UK population will be around 50 percent including those who move into the UK from foreign countries and also any new babies born to all migrants in the UK, the study findings by the thinktank ‘MigrationWatch’ clarified.
Findings of this report are based on the analysis of official figures released by the UK government (the Office for National Statistics-ONS). The report raises serious concerns about the impact of increased UK population (caused, in part, by increased UK immigration) on the public services in the nation.
Study findings say that the expected increase of nearly 1.1 million migrants in the UK will include nearly 222, 000 additional children sufficient to fill nearly 110 secondary schools and 550 primary schools(average sized).
The ONS estimates for the UK population for the coming decades are based on current migration trends and birth rate trends. The findings were published last year and the figures for the period of the coming Parliament have been analyzed by the thinktank MigrationWatch.
Sir Andrew Green, the brainchild behind ‘MigrationWatch’, cautioned the UK government of the circumstances going out of control in the wake of soaring UK immigration numbers.
Sir Green had issued clear warning asking where will the funds needed to provide additional public services including schools, homes and hospitals for the extra UK population come from? And, the only solution suggested by Mr. Green is in getting the UK immigration levels down.
