UK students look for working holiday visas for Australia

Australia, 8th September: A large number of students in the UK are seeking to move to Australia or Canada to get enrolled in university after failing to get admission in the UK universities.
This is largely due to higher number of applicants seeking admission in UK universities. Another factor compelling students in the UK to look overseas universities is the higher grades secured by other students leaving no place for those with low grades.
According to an estimate, nearly 200,000 students in the UK wanting to get admission in UK universities this year are likely to miss out the chance while a large number of other graduates are feeling the pinch of scarcity of jobs in the UK.
So, the option before them is to enroll at Australian university. And those who want to get work experience along with experiencing of traveling globally to secure a place in the university the coming year must go for Australian work holiday visas or Canada work holiday visas.
The government of Australia offers such visas to young Britons wanting to travel around Canada or Australia on work holiday visas for a maximum period of one year. The best part of getting an Australian holiday work visa or Canada holiday work visa is that you can work in Canada or in Australia as a temporary worker.
Those getting Australian holiday work visas and staying in Australia can get an extension of staying even beyond the period of one year with the condition that they are employed, at least for a couple of months during their one year stay, in such industries like agriculture which face a shortage of workforce.
No wonder, Australian holiday work visas are a favorite for many Britons who don’t want to miss out on such a wonderful opportunity.
There is a severe shortage of migrants willing to work in Australia. Sydney has 25,063 jobs needing to be filled by travelers to Australia on Australia working holiday visas in the age group of 18-30 years, said Tom Griffiths, Gapyear.com.
Some of the available jobs in Australia include office workers (@ $25 an hour), accountants (@ $30 an hour), skilled laborers (@ $30 an hour), fruit pickers (@ $400-$1000 p/w) and nurses ( @ $50 an hour).
