Migration to UK is not going be an easy job now. With the changes introduced by the David Cameron, government this month, that came into being in order to cut down the migrant’s ratio especially from the Asian countries.
The tightening of the policies aims at reducing the immigrants to just few thousands as compared to large number taking place since many years.
The new rules have come as a shock and surprise for the aspirants, UK has now raised their eligibility standards for the jobs in their country. Before it the students after their studies could work without sponsorships but now with the coming of the new rules, after completing the studies students aspiring to working there should have the minimum of 20, 000 pounds sponsorship a year from their registered employers.
According to it a student must have a job which pays him around 1,500 pounds per month, which at time is difficult to find when one is an immigrant.
Now more restrictions have also been introduced regarding the students eligibility, only the brightest students are expected to get the visas, those with the motive of working and settling their will have to face rejections. The extension of student visa is now much more under restrictions and will be carried on in much more organized way then before.
The restriction will also affect the shifting of employees from the Asian countries to UK, as the country is now giving more chances to their resident population by putting various curbs to the other country men. The UK job market is expected to give tough times to the immigrants coming in.
The attainment of permanent residency rules also underwent stricter rules as the applicants now have to fulfill higher criteria’s for being a resident of the country.
The main motive of this tightening the immigration rules are that UK wants the population coming for non-European countries come up study or work here for some specific period but should not settle in the country.
Now as per the new rules all the visa concerning documents also will be checked covering each and every minor detail. This is brought in to have proper check on outgoing and incoming of foreign people.
A huge drop is expected by the number of aspirants applying in for the UK. Such restrictions are leading the aspirants to shift their interest to other countries where the rules are not that strict.
