Director General of the BCC (British Chambers of Commerce), David Frost, while responding to the changes made by the UKBA to the UK Work Permit policy, stated that the businesses in the UK have been repeatedly asking the UK government regarding the discrepancies in the interim migration cap.
And, hence, all the employers in the UK will feel elated to hear that the UK ministers are indeed making several changes to facilitate employers.
Mr. Frost maintained that the BCC has always stated that any limits on UK immigration must not, in any way, damage the growth prospects in the nation. He also accepted that the UK government’s policy has restricted the ability of the UK businesses to help in recovery of the UK economy.
He stressed on the need for collaborative efforts between the UK employers and the UK government to train the workforce of the nation.
Mr. Frost said that there is a great need for making the UK a top destination for international investments and top foreign talent. And for this to achieve, the UK needs more sensible UK immigration arrangements in the times to come.
