Tourism Australia to invite Britons to Australia


Australia, 30th September: Tourism Australia is going to target British travelers to come and explore Australia through its new tourism campaign.

The second phase of the Australia tourism campaign is in partnership with Emirates Australia for alluring Britons to come down under. The first phase of this tourism campaign was initiated at the start of this year.

The campaign made by DDB will be launched in the month of October at radio, cinema, print and online advertising. Starcom and Carat will be entrusted with the buying and media planning of the tourism campaign.

Some of the major highlights of the tourism campaign by Tourism Australia will be some of the most exquisite holiday experiences in the nation aimed to invite more and more tourists to Australia.

For visiting Australia, all travelers require either a New Zealand passport or an Australian passport or an Australian Tourist Visa.

However, the best option is to get an ETA visa(Electronic Travel Authority) visa available online and granted instantly.
Emirates Australia, the co-partner in the tourism campaign, has the facility of one-stop flights to Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and Perth from Gatwick, Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham, London Heathrow and New Castle airports through Dubai.

Britons, for long, are known for having a special attraction for various travelling spots in Australia, stated regional manager of Tourism Australia in Europe and the UK, Rodney Harrex. The Britons who have earlier holidayed amidst the beautiful scenarios of Australia will get to experience several incredible experience not enjoyed before while adding many special memories to their last trip to this land of sunshine, stated Harrex.

He added that Britons who have not yet visited Australia will discover a new experience of the beautiful landscapes, exotic wildlife and numerous friendly locals through this tourism campaign.

Last year, nearly 570,000 backpackers travelled to Australia out of which around 183,000 came on one-year Australian visas. Among the various tourist destinations in Australia, NSW(New South Wales) happens to the be top state for holidaymakers looking to work and travel in Australia by grabbing  a giant share of around 44 percent of the total visitors to Australia.
