Australia, 6th May: Tourism Australia is all set to introduce several new additions to its international tourism promotional campaign named ‘There’s Nothing Like Australia”.

Under its new campaign, Tourism Australia will invite Australians to come forward and share their family photographs as well as stories of Australia’s ‘big things’.
Those Australian family photographs with ‘big things’ including over-sized animals, huge fruits and several other strange things are common around Australia and hence, an integral feature in holiday snaps of Australian families.
These iconic big things of Australia will be placed by Tourism Australia on the international map, Managing Director of Tourism Australia, Andrew McEvoy stated.
McEvoy asked all Australians to open up those old photo albums and share those fantastic holiday fun with the entire world. Australia’s ‘big things’ are a perfect example of the ingenuity and great sense of humor of Aussies and one cannot imagine any Australian holiday tourist map without these fun-filled and lively photographs.
Some of the famous bigs of Australia include the Big Banana(near Coffs Harbor, New South Wales)Big Koala, Big Murray, Big Bull, Big Ned Kelly, Big Wool Bales, Big Pineapple in Queensland, Big Milkshake and Big Earthworm.
Although, the invitation for Australians to share their family photographs with the entire world seems a great idea, however, McEvoy stated that its for Australians to decide whether they want to come forward with this or not.
If you are an Australian willing to share those memorable moments of pleasure and fun with the world, then upload your family pictures at the official site of the campaign- ‘There’s nothing like Australia’.
Placing such iconic big things on Australian tourist map so peculiar with Australia is likely to invite greater number of tourists from different parts of the world to visit Australia. And if you happen to fall in love with those ‘bigs’ of Australia, you need to apply for getting an Australian Tourist Visa from Australian immigration department.
Of course, if you already have an Australian passport or a NEW Zealand passport, then you don’t need any Australian visa.
Australian ETA visa (Electronic Travel Authority visa) seems to be the best option for those wanting to explore Australia. An ETA Visa allows any visitor to visit and live in Australia for a maximum period of up to three months.
