Tories promises loans to Immigrants willing to upgrade their skills

Harper have come up with the proposal of giving loans to the immigrants to upgrade their skills as according to the professional regulatory bodies.

Stephen Harper has promised, if he is re elected this election season, he would also work for the benefit for the betterment of immigrants. He has proposed that government would offer loans to the migrants to upgrade their skills and get a better job in the country.

It has been noticed recently that migrants are facing trouble in getting jobs of their particular profile and their interest. They are going through such problem because their credentials are not recognized by the by Professional Regulatory bodies of the country. Henceforth the jobs offered to them are of lower profiles as compared to the professional courses they have completed.

It has also been noticed that even if the migrants have completed studies with same level as of a countrymen, they don’t get jobs and salary as same as they get. This situation increases the gap between the standards of living among the migrants and the Canadians.

This serious was brought up by the government in the budget that opened up in the last month. Harper have seriously looked into the matter and promised that conservatives will offer loans to help immigrants who are willing to upgrade their skills according to the rules of professional regulatory bodies of the country.

They have promised to pay for their skill trainings they need to undergo and the other upgrading they require which are acceptable according to the norms of regulatory bodies.

The estimated cost for this measure is expected to be around $6million per annum. The cost is not supposed to be delayed if the budget is balanced.

According to the Tories, these loans will be very helpful to for current as well as the new migrants, who want to work in Canada, through this loan offered by the government they easily undergo their training session and will be able to find jobs of their interest and profile.  Through this they will also be able to take full advantage of their experience and expertise.

The loans to be issued to the migrants are supposed to cover the expenses for the required training, its training materials, and the exams which are to be gone through, administration, the registration fees and all the other costs associated to the get foreign credential recognition.

Tories are full of hopes that this measure will help to open up their chances with the large population of migrants in Canada.
