Unsure what to do next

Question in Detail:
My girlfriend and I met in Canada while she was in university there. I am a Canadian citizen, born and raised in Nova Scotia. She is a Chinese national who has held multiple student visas and a three year work visa. We have lived together uninterrupted for 4 years. About 2 years ago we relocated to China, and during that time, her work visa expired. Now we are thinking of going back to Canada permanently. What is our best chance of getting PR status for her? Common law application or should we get married here in China? We have lots of evidence of the relations ship, but i've been told marriage is much faster and has a better chance of acceptance. What should we do?
