Question in Detail:
Is there a possibility to reject/denied an application for permanent residence under Family Stream as Spouse if my surname still does not follow with my husband? I received a letter last August 13, 2011 for the file number and asking for additional documents such as original marriage certificate, original marriage license together with my original passport. Until now I have not received any feedback or any update with Manila Embassy here in the Philippines. Why is it taking too long for them to update on the website? How will I know if there is any problem with my application? I and my husband were just worried about it. And it is very difficult to be far away from each other...very emotional, physical, and mentally stressful. We just keep on praying that one of this day we will receive a positive feedback from the Embassy.
