Obama brings new hopes for young illegal immigrants

Obama has announced relief policies for young illegal immigrants, through this they can legally stay and work in the country.

It came as big news for all the young illegal immigrants, who were staying in the country with the fear of getting deported in near future. The news turned as a sigh of relief that now they have a bright chance to legally stay and work in the country.

The Announcement:

According to the Obama’s newly declared policy this Friday, any young illegal immigrant could not be straightaway deported if they fulfill the following conditions. Firstly if they were brought to the country before the age of 16 years and their current age should not be exceeding than 30 years. Secondly they have stayed in country for at-least five years and should be going to school or graduated or have got a GED or have worthily completed their military duration. Thirdly they must not have any kind of criminal record making them a threat for the country.

Another additional part of the policy stated that now they can legally apply for their work permits that would be valid till two years and can be renewed any number of times.

Reaction:

The whole lot of young illegal immigrants utter most excited about this new arrangement, they are looking forward for its strict implementation so that they peacefully live and work in the country. Most of them totally agree to it and willing to take chances by applying work visa for the country.

But some of them do have their own doubts which could be well seen on social networking sites that they are not very clear about the policy and how will it function and hence are little dubious. As after the implementation of this policy they have to get themselves registered with the said authorities and apply for work visas and still have chances that their applications might get rejected and they have to return back to their native places.

Disagreement:

The policy has come as a boom for those who are staying in the country illegally, but conservatives have their own parts of disagreement, they feel that Obama has taken one-sided step and have not properly considered its consequences.

Even Republicans including Arizona Senate under the President ship of Russell Pearce are also not in favor of it, marking it as an unconstitutional step. They also feel that this kind of insult for those people who took up hard procedures, waited long to came and are staying in country legally. Such a step will not bind people rather it will encourage further illegal immigration.
