United Kingdom, 22nd September: The re-designing of UK Border Agency’s official website is certainly going to ease the process of UK immigration.

The aim of overhauling of the UKBA (UK Border Agency) website is to provide integrated information at the website to all the clients in the UK and abroad.
Prior to this redesigning of the official website of the UKBA, the information related to UK immigration and process of UK visas was scattered in three different government sites. But, with this latest endeavor by the UKBA, customers will get all the information at this redesigned UK immigration website.
Prior to taking this important step, the UKBA had sought consultations from several external stakeholders.
It was largely felt that extensive overhaul of the UKBA website was quite overdue since the candidates requiring to apply for UK visas and immigrants had to browse through three different websites for finding the required information.
As part of the overhaul of the government website of the UKBA, the home page has been redesigned and the web pages of the site have been re-organized to present information related to the UK immigration in a more simple, organized and clear manner.
The new site for UK immigration has improvements to the already existing web pages in addition to the inclusion of information guides for new UK visa applicants.
The new website aiming for improved online usability is the result of collaborative efforts between several industry stakeholders, big consultancy firms in the UK and the UK government department.
Among those consulted for brining desired improvements in the UK immigration website include Liam Clifford, director of Global Visas. Clifford was all praises for the new design of the website which took quite a long time to materialize.
He said that the redesigning process is a good beginning and it’s already much ahead of majority of other government websites in the UK. He also added the overhaul is just the start of a much long process ahead aimed to present the online information in a streamlined process.
The new website also aims to reduce the chances of defrauding of UK visa applicants by rogue advisors.
