Mass Immigration led UK to a poorer way

As per the recent findings the ministers of the country are finding mass immigration responsible for the highest working age population below the poverty line in the last 50 years.

Recently it has brought to the country’s ministers that the large scale immigration to the country can form one of the causes for the poverty among the poorly paid people. Various ministers also found the reason quiet valid.

Iain Duncan Smith, Work and Pension Secretary, commented on the situation that the Labor’s after coming into power have released gates attracting large number of immigrants to the country. Now the situation has taken a bad turn with more than ten thousands of them looking for unskilled jobs for their survival.

According to the experts the situation is not only economically bad but otherwise is also very stressful. The latest statistics shows that working age adult poverty is at the highest level this year as compared to the records of last 50 years. According to a Work and Pensions Secretary, said the immigration is a big cause which has led to rise in the agony among the number of skilled labors.

The experts are of point of view that easing of immigration doors have led to the hard times for the job market.

It has been found that there has been a tremendous rise of poverty figures around 700, 000 in the period of five years from 2004 to the year 2009. The total figure came out in the year 2010 was staggering, which came out as around 5.7 million as working age people below the poverty line. Figures accounting to 16 per cent of the working age population below the poverty line which is the highest since the last 50 years record.

The last year statistics showed a little decrease in poverty between the children and pension takers. But the Institute of Fiscal Studies gave the reason that these figures are just the projection that came up due to state benefits offered and tax credits given by the government before the elections. But the real picture is quite different.

Experts says the recession is not responsible for this situation it’s the boom period between the years 2004 to 2007 that attracted large number of immigrants from the different countries turned to UK is responsible for the current situation.

They feel that on labor's easing the policy have led to the stiff competition for the unskilled jobs. The people have started preferring living on more of life on the benefits giving by the country rather than life on working.

Labor minister commented on the situation that the immigration has also benefited the economy of the country and hence cannot be proved totally wrong.
