Information on applying Visa for Ontario PNP Program.

Canada is a multicultural country, each province and territory has its own history, manage your economy and in turn can choose the type of immigrants according to their needs.

That's why the Federal Government decided to sign agreements with the provinces and territories in the provincial immigration issue. 10 provinces have an independent immigration program which meets their needs for skilled workers, temporary workers and investors to the market in each region.

To apply, candidates must first obtain a certificate of provincial nomination in accordance with the requirements of each province. Processing times are much faster than the federal program and in many cases allow the candidate to work in parallel while your visa is being processed.

Ontario is the geographic center of Canada. The province is also the center of the Canadian economy. It attracts businesses in manufacturing, finance, tourism and other industries. She is also a leader in the fields of science and the arts. Ontario is vast and diverse. Its territory has an area one million square kilometers and its population has 12 million people from 200 countries and in speaking about 130 languages. Ontario’s cities are vibrant and its landscapes are spectacular.

Ontario has a strong and diversified economy which includes a wide variety of occupations and industries. Most immigrants settle in Ontario because of the opportunities that are offered. Its people are Ontario’s greatest asset, and we are pleased with the contribution of talent and energy that are newcomers to this province. In return, we offer opportunities and unmatched quality of life.

Ontario recognizes that employers play a vital role in its economic success. For many employers, newcomers to Ontario are a rich source of skilled workers. If you are an Ontario employer who has trouble finding the skilled workers you need, Opportunities Ontario may be the program for you.

This program allows employers to:

…Apply for approval of permanent, full time that will be occupied by strangers;

…Recruit foreigners to fill these positions.

Opportunities Ontario: Provincial Nominee Program of the province seeks to help employers who are struggling to recruit skilled workers in Ontario. Applications from employers who wish to approve positions to be filled by foreign workers, who currently live abroad or visiting Canada, will be treated as a priority if these employers have tried to recruit for these positions citizens Canadian or permanent residents who live in Ontario before submitting application for the program.

After being recruited by an employer, those who meet all requirements of Opportunities Ontario may be nominated by the province for the purpose of obtaining permanent resident status, as a provincial nominee. Nominees must then apply to Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC). CIC then performs extensive checks on health and safety before granting permanent resident status to applicants. Applicants may also submit an application to CIC for temporary work permit for the processing of their application for permanent residence.

AS OF December 23, 2010: If you attach the results of a language test at your request, these results will now be valid for two years from the date of your assessment, instead of one year as c ' was previously the case. This change affects applicants under the Skilled Worker (Federal), the Canadian Experience Class and category of business people (investors, entrepreneurs and self).

People who plan to hire a paid representative to help on issues related to immigration from Opportunities Ontario: Provincial Nominee Program of the province or the Government of Canada should know that federal regulations on Immigration and Refugee Protection Act provides that only authorized immigration representatives may require a fee to represent a person on an immigration application. Program Nominee province applies this rule.

Paragraph 13.1 (1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act states that: "... it is forbidden for anyone who is not an authorized representative to represent a person in any matter before the Minister, an officer or the Commission, or act as counsel, against payment. "

As of June 30, 2001, the Regulatory Board of Immigration Consultants of Canada (CRCIC) will be the new regulatory body for immigration consultants. Consultants who are members in good standing of the Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants (CSIC) at June 30, 2011 may register with the CRCIC.
