Illegal Immigrants employed in UK Border Agency, other sensitive UK offices

United Kingdom, January 4: According to the latest revelation by the UK Shadow Home Secretary Chris Grayling, at least dozens of illegal immigrants have been found to be employed in the home office of the UK Border Agency.

This has been admitted by the Home Office whose main function is to keep the illegal immigrants out of United Kingdom.

Nearly a dozen of illegal immigrants were working although illegally including a person as a chef cooking meals for employees of the UK Border Agency.

The agency is among several 34 local authorities, 54 NHS Trusts and 3 Government departments which have employed nearly 349 illegal foreign immigrants. Among the illegal staff employed in such offices include not just care workers and nurses but even doctors and teachers too.

This is not the end. Nearly one million illegal immigrants in UK might be working in very sensitive government offices of the country, claimed government critics here on Sunday night. And if this is the situation in the home office of the country, then, one can, quite well, understand the situation in the public sector in the country, stated Chris Grayling.

This harrowing situation highlights the worrying situation about the security conditions in the Home Office and calls for immediate action.

There is a need for effective policing of the borders of the country as the current approach of the government is very loose.

In a recent admittance, the Home Office said it had employed one Ghanian and 11 Nigerians in a period of last four years. Ten illegal immigrants got employment at Becket House which happens to be a headquarter of the UK Border Agency at the south London. Also, nearly two illegal immigrants were employed at the Whitehall HQ of the Home Office including one as a security guard.
