In almost every nation throughout the world, there are majority of immigration agents ready to fulfill your dreams of Canada immigration. However, you may be astonished to know that majority of such immigration advisors or immigration consultants are neither qualified for their job nor approved by the Canadian government to become representatives of those applying for Canada immigration.

The surprising thing is that these so-called immigration advisors are actually fake and do not know even such basic things as filing an application form for immigrating to Canada. So, it would be vague to expect getting proper advice regarding immigrating to Canada.

• So, Who are Authorized by Government of Canada to work as Immigration advisors? -----
Any representative who charges a fixed fee for representing his client or giving advice to his client regarding Canada immigration should either be---

1. A Canadian lawyer having good reputation; or

2. A member of CSIC (Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants) of good repute.

Apart from these two above mentioned immigration advisors, no one else can represent or act as an immigration advisor.

• Essential Qualifications of CSIC members and Canadian lawyers---------------------

In order to become a lawyer in a country like Canada, extensive education is the foremost requisite. This includes having a Bachelor’s degree and a degree in law followed by one-year articling period. Apart from this, there are certain exams that need to be passed before the license to work as an immigration advisor is granted so that authorized immigration advisors give the best service to their applicants for immigration.

Before becoming a CSIC member, one has to undergo an intensive study program focused on Canada immigration law and pass series of exams before getting a license for practicing as immigration advisor in Canada.

• Codes of Conduct----
Both CSIC members and Canadian lawyers are answerable to their respective regulatory bodies.

Hence, before choosing any immigration advisor for seeking advice regarding Canada immigration, always consider the above mentioned vital

points to ensure that you are selecting a genuine and authorized immigration consultant.
