Health Care issues may decide the outcome of the elections

The fate of the country's health care system is to be decided after the results of elections only.

Health care is one of the major issues concerned for the elections this time. After recession it is the most important concern for the Canadian public. According to the recent statistics available it has been found that right now millions of Canadians don’t have proper medical facilities.
The various parties have made it their main agenda to influence public and win the elections. Various schemes have promised by the politicians to improve the health care system in the country. The fates of these are to be decided after the elections only when the policies and schemes will be implemented. They have promised to plan the large investments in this sector.
According to the international rating, Canada stands at a very low position, as in the money invested by it for this purpose is quiet low as compared to others. Waiting time here is very high plus the quality of health care provided is not same throughout the country.
But as according to the medical experts and economists money is not the only consideration. It requires high determination, innovation process, commitment to improve by the medical organizations and other health care representatives.
Dr. Jeff Turbull, President of the Canada Medical Care Association, said that transforming our health care system with our determination and money will be making it more effective will bring in better future for the Canadians.
But recently neither of the Liberals nor Conservatives has put forward the exact funding they are planning to put in. the Liberals have somehow given the statement that they if they are elected in these elections, they will be approximately maintaining the six percent escalator after the year 2014.
Similarly the Tories also gave assurance that the party if came into reign they will also make move for maintaining six per cent escalator. The same policy is further supported by the Jack Layton, the NDP party leader. But, the statement came from the Conservatives surprised all. They are proposing there is a high need for the government to limit its role in the health care issues and it should be made responsibility of the provisions by transferring the tax points under them and making the transfer and payment all together at a single point.
The Federal provincial health 10 year accord is going to be finish by the 2014, to renew it the talks have started off at the low levels.
