Hard sentences for visa test scam supported

The Immigration department of Australia is supporting the sentences given to the people found guilty in English test scam

Recently the court have taken strict decision of jailing or suspending the nine people who have found guilty for the scam at Curtin University’s Language Centre, the place where the exams are taken care off for the International English Testing System.
This decision taken by Perth District Court is much welcomed by the immigration department of the country as this will help to control such activities in future.
As per an authority from the Department of Immigration and Citizenship these step taken by the court would be lesson for those people who might use such wrong means to enter the country in future. It is also a message that such non desirable would not be let gone in future also.
This also shows that hard attempts are made to keep up the integrity and migration system of the country.
As per the new policies initiated by the immigration authorities now the aspirants to get permanent residency or wanted to get student or work visas, they should now have good command over the English language by at least scoring more than seven bands in the tests conducted.
The country will now will not be lenient if anyone found guilty will be facing straight cancellation of procedure for their immigration.
The immigration authorities are reviewing all the visa cases to keep a control on increasing immigration fraud.
With the coming up of new provision, this new fraud checking provision gives the authority of straight away refusing the application, if in case there any misleading information is given by the aspirant to the authorities in their visa application.
Before the introduction of this new immigration rule, there was hope, even if there is any doubtful information is provided in the application form can be corrected at the later stage and would meet the requirements for entering into the country.
The people held recently for the guilty this crime has been charged accordingly and will be followed by the deep investigation which will be carried by the Western Australia’s Corruption and Crime commission.
Even Kok Keith Low, 32 a former university staffer where such fraud takes place, was found guilty of around 15 counts, have been jailed for next 2 years for taking bribe as a government officer for more than 10 months during the previous year.
Abdul Kader, 27 who is doubted of being playing key role in the scam, was sentenced to punishment for 18 months for taking thousands of dollars from the aspirants.
Many more contributing in scam have checked upon and have been detained.
