Fashion show that would leave you mesmerized

A recent fashion show on 19th Nov. 2010 at Bollywood Banquet Hall at 7.30 pm featured a wildlife theme which was exotic with over a 100 outfits and followed by dinner and course dancing. The spectacular show made a name for itself in being stylish and groundbreaking, a show not to be missed. Those who have missed it have really missed something. They are recommended not to miss any other show by Armaan DBG.

The theme (wildlife here) often sets the tone for the collection and the function. The genre of music played can help bring out the best in the collection and sets the tone for the evening. Sometimes even live singers or DJs hired. Needless to say, the music changes with the mood of the collection. Since the paparazzi and the media are involved, the more the fanfare and glamour in the show the better as the pics taken by them will be in all the newspapers and magazines.

Talking about this show, the décor of the stage is superbly done. The overhanging chandeliers give a nice look to the show which can overwhelm the clientele. The drapes in the backdrop look good with light directed on them and the material of the drapes makes it shining. Even the antique lamps give the show a charm of retro or yesteryear.

Fashion shows are never easy to organize. A lot of hard work goes behind the show. The hard work behind the designer clothes shown in this show is done by Devi.

The theme of this show being live wildlife, the music was according to the theme and you can see from the pics that the models are often shown with some wild animal. As accessories the models are also wearing tattoos.

Designer Devi combine the look of the modern world and the traditional Indian dress designs. She designs sarees, suits and wedding lenghas chunni in a wonderful style and fabrics. Fabrics used like silk, satin, georgette, tulle and chiffon. Designer and Stylish trousseau make the women attractive. We can say this look is more elegant and suitable for young women.

The result is some cool designs which look Indian but show some western influence. Devi selects colour like black, white, red, rust, maroon, pink, cream, sliver and gold in the hotter weather. Combination of black & gold is marvelous. It reads the women of today.
