The noticeable performance comes from merely 21 year old universities like HKUST of Hong Kong and Nanyag Technological University of Singapore. The former secured 33rd position and the latter secured 47th position.

Academic excellence is certainly the most important key to score a good rank. However, the faculty members, the ratio of student and faculty and the infrastructure also contribute majorly to this success. In fact, marketing strategy adopted by the Universities is another important factor in getting a good rank.
