Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program

Alberta, Canada, 3rd April: Those applying for immigration to Canada under the US Visa-holders under the AINP (Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program) have been informed about the sudden closure of their files due prevailing economic scenario in Alberta.

This decision will affect the future of several IT (Information Technology) professionals and is a matter of serious concern for all those affected by this decision of Alberta Government. Worried and desperate about their fate, many clients have approached Canadian immigration lawyer David Cohen for seeking appropriate action in this regard.

And to help his clients, the services of legal counsel are being sought by Cohen in Alberta for filling a petition against the immigration minister of Alberta.

Claiming the action of Alberta government regarding rejection of their files not just unfair but totally illegal, Cohen said that a legal counsel in Alberta has been asked to file a legal suit to protect the fate of his clients.

The current global economic crisis has undergone a change in the period of last two years resulting in a significant decline in the number of opportunities for jobs in Canada in the sector of Information Technology. Hence, the files of several candidates applying for nomination certificates to get jobs in Canada in the IT sector were told about this harsh decision by the Alberta government.

Moreover, the Alberta government has clearly stated the fact that since the job opportunities have become less in the IT sector due to global economic downturn, so, only those professionals in the IT sector who get valid offers for jobs in Canada from the employers in Alberta province in the period of next would get the opportunity of getting their case files opened once again.

The main motive of launching Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program in the year 2008 was to cater to the increasing jobs in Canada’s Alberta province. And among those who were being preferred for such IT jobs in Canada were those having work experience in North America. Those working on temporary basis in the US were being encouraged to apply for Alberta immigration under this program.
