Alabama Immigration law is toughest of its kind

A new bill is proposed by the government to cut down the number of illegal immigrants to the state.

As to control the increasing number of illegal immigrants in the state, Alabama is looking forward to pass a very strict bill leading to a tough immigrant law amendment. According to the experts this bill will lead to toughest immigration law in the country. They also feel that it would be tougher than the one which was passed by Arizona that came into being since last year.
The bill is supported by the high number of majority in the Republican Legislature government. The Republican, Robert Bentley will most probably sign this bill further into the law.
The Bill:
The coming up new Alabama bill will have a strict provision and will be given liberal authorities to check and inquire about any immigrant they find suspicious. The bill will give power to the state and the home police people to question any immigrant with the rational suspicion over the fellow and can check whether the person is an illegal immigrant or not. Experts have a viewpoint that it is quiet similar to the controversial law that came up in the Arizona.
This Alabama proposed bill has also added new and tough rules. Now it is compulsory for the immigrants to carry proof of their immigration legal status if they don’t have it when demand it will be considered a criminal offence. It also does not allow the illegal immigrants to apply for any public college or any educational institution for their further studies after completing their high school at the state.
Further all the public schools before giving admissions should check the immigration status of the prospective students and the parents of the foreign born students to confirm the immigration status of their wards.
The bill also specifics that all The public schools of Alabama, to give accurate report of the total number of immigrant students enrolled, with their immigration status whether they are legal or not. They are also supposed to give all the cost details expenditure on their education.
The bill also specifies that from now it will be criminal offence to rent a place to an illegal immigrant knowingly. It will also be an offence in the bar business sector to avail tax deductions on the wages they are paying to the illegal immigrant workers.
The authorities are implementing these tough laws in hope that it will lead to tremendous cut down in number of illegal immigrants.
