Who is to be blamed?

Who is to be blamed?

The recent raid on Howard Industries by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for hiring illegal aliens for working in the plant raises a lot of questions that for years have been fomented by the IBEW, Local Union 1317 former president/manager, who have received a number of complaints over the years regarding illegals form US citizens working at HI.

We have listened to ‘illegals’ apologists’ arguing on humanitarian and economic impact, irrespective of customs, naturalization and immigration laws. The fact is that when the illegals infuse the US borders, as it is clear by the influx of illegals in the Laurel-Jones County Area, the US security level is shaky and the a socio-economic instability is created when ‘enforcement’ dilatory ensues way beyond the borders.

Now the questions raised are- “Who is to be blamed for the illegal immigration in the US? Is it government’s mistake as lack of enforcement, the businesses who hire these illegal aliens, or are these illegals to be blamed for coming to work without documentations?

The answer is that all of the above are to be blamed to some extent. And yes, the liable parties that are most often left out are the human smuggles who earn millions trafficking illegal aliens into the United States through the Mexican border. In the process, some deaths also occur during these smuggling escapades, which are organized with the help of churches, businesses, contractors, developers, restaurants, bars and other organizations.

In other words, we can say that this is similar to the “underground railroad”, a secret network that helped slaves escape from South Canada to North Canada, with food and shelter been provided to the escapees in stations along the way form 1830s to 1860s. Therefore, I think that there are similar stations/safe houses that operate form Mexico to Laurel-Jones County.

So, in effect, the network of culprits facilitating permeable borders, human trafficking, safe housing and other things to bring the illegal aliens are to be blamed.
