Immigration is nothing but the movement of people from one country to another in hope of finding better living conditions and stay in other country. People from developing nations are now moving to developed countries in lure of better life and safety. Canada is luring new immigrants towards it.
Immigration Facts
USA has a population of 300 million; still it accepts only 100,000 immigrants per year legally. It provides them with good jobs contracts and ready under H1-B visas.
Canada has a population of 30 million and it legally accepts 320,000/year immigrants. Thus it is not able to provide them with contracts. It can only give them low job offer because of oversupply.
Every government must then take a stand to decide whether they would be allowing immigration of people beyond a certain limit or not. Excessive immigration of skilled people is also a problem. It would create over supply of labor and would thus increase competition.
The basic nature of people immigrating to other places has changed. The people who now immigrate are rich, well educated and are concerned towards their safety. Hence they are already well established and move to other countries in search of better job.
Government’s Stand on Immigration
Government of any country is ok with immigration till the time skilled workers move to their country. However any Government cannot force the economic growth of the nation on the basis of the immigration system put up. It has to take some other measures as well.
Power to Immigrants
Immigrants if dissatisfied in some manner or the other can organize a "class action". A "class action" is nothing but a collective lawsuit wherein one party consisting of a group of people giving out a common legal position or having a common problem with regards to the other opposing party. Legal expenses incurred are collectively shared by the group. This law suit helps to compensate damages caused to other immigrants, as well as it helps to bring a change in the current immigration policies.
Immigration to Canada
Canada as a country offers tremendous opportunity in professional field and courses ot immigrants. It can be said to be a perfect immigrant nation. It gives option to people to upgrade or apply for relevant course.
Difficulties arise because Immigration Canada and other related government departments and agencies are bureaucratic in nature and have become politicized.
One cannot have a free lunch. So you need to co-operate with the efforts put in by the nationals of Canada as well as with the Government to fully integrate yourself into the system. Though like America, the immigration is less of talent hunt in Canada, you can manage to find bread for yourselves with little of effort.
