US Immigration System-Violation of Human Rights

Just as the immigrants who land in USA get monetary benefits; so does the U.S. government, from the influx of immigrants. So why is the issue of immigration getting more bizarre and complicated each year? Has immigration into U.S. reached alarming levels or is it simply blown out of proportion? Immigrants to American land go with the sole purpose of earning better livelihood and leading a moderately luxurious life. And the country’s economy is greatly profited due to the rise in business turnovers.

Then, where is the actual trouble? Such queries are best left unanswered. Every year about 12 to 15 million illegal immigrants arrive in the US. Nearly half of them have job security. Evacuating them out of the country would mean that many of the American industries would suffer for want of adequate labor. Even the latest immigration policy is wacky, the green card holders or those holding permanent citizenship may also be sent back to their countries after they complete their education. Many of these students really crave to practice their knowledge under the U.S. skyline.

For the US economy, to remain stable and flourish, it really needs these eager student entrepreneurs and skilled laborers. Deporting them may bring about heavy losses to the country’s economy. Could it be possible that millions of illegal immigrants be deported to their homelands?

Many of these immigrants have found convenient loopholes to enter forbidden land. So the US government needs to face the truth that their security and control system is not that strong enough. If they had adhered to their strict immigration laws, no illegal immigrants would have dared pass the border. What is the other option now?

Should illegal immigrants be forced to pay fines, serve jail terms before they are adopted as lawful citizens? Now, if such a rule was brought about, the whole scenario would change. The government would eventually benefit from the re-structured immigrants who would also pay taxes. There would be no fear factor; people living in the shadow of fear would venture out into freedom and new hope. Many enthusiast immigrants, for the sake of permanent citizenship, would eventually learn English language. A change for the good, but is it possible?

The racism with hatred of cast and creed needs to be tackled before declaring U.S.-the land where borders dissolve and cultures merge into one. The point is could the sea of humanity quieten the dark storm of racist hatred? In reality, all these colors of black, brown and white people merge together and keep the U.S. economy at the top of the world. And deporting them from their second homeland is not justified in any way. U.S. needs to awaken from its slumber and face the real world, with new eyes of love rather than rose-colored spectacles. It is time to fix up the repairs, do some real homework and enjoy the fruits of labor and unity.

The world is waiting with bated breath to see a change in the immigration system for the better, as every country has got its sons and daughters who are residing somewhere within the American terrain.
