There are many immigrants who are the pride of Canada.

A lot is being said about the immigrants and sadly, most of what is being said is very pinching for them. People must be taught at home not only to respect the Canadian Anthem and their parents but should also be taught to respect others and understand someone else’s feelings.

It is also been said that the immigrants take undue advantage of the government services like the health benefits and the educational system that is one of the best in the world. But, we forget that we all have the right to use these services simply because all of us pay taxes and they earn their money in an equally hard manner as every one else does. And if we leave these same repeated illogical issues over which we create controversies time and again, then actually there is no way in which the immigrants take advantage of the Canadian system.

There are a number of ways to migrate into Canada. One can come in as a skilled worker, or an entrepreneur, or family class sponsor and many other ways. Therefore, reports stating anything against must be based on concrete stats and reports and various other things should be taken care of. Though there have been many cases of indulgence of immigrants in illegal activities, but generalization would be injustice to the genuine lot of immigrants. You cannot blame everyone for mistakes that few people do. One should view the positive aspects of the immigration, as there are many immigrants bestow the country with their talent and skill.

The fact that the comments regarding the immigrants are generally discriminatory and ignorant is really shameful since these immigrants make Canada a fruitful country and make way for future developments and growth in economy. The immigrants come to Canada leaving behind their country, family, friends and all other things they are used to, in order to grab better opportunities of earning and therefore they should be bestowed with a lot of love and warmth, out of humanity at least.

A very honest fact is that the commitment of the immigrants is absolutely non-questionable. They not only live in Canada but also give everything to this country. They need to be respected more than they actually are. The immigrants are very much the identity of Canada as they contribute in a significant way in the development of the country, and the nation must be proud of them.
