Family will remain together after UK visa extension

A Bradford family is in celebration mood after the Canadian wife of a UK citizen was granted a UK visa which would allow her to live with her husband and daughter.
Mark Harper was on verge of being separated from Deanna, his Canadian wife, when the request to extend her UK visa was turned down by the home office. Following the decision, Deanna was almost sure to leave the country and go back to Canada.
Mrs. Harper told reporters that all members of the family are very excited and relieved now as officials determined that they would not like to separate the family because of the fact that the break will be too long.
She said it feels great to know that they are finally not going to be separated. She also said that everyone has been very supportive until the matter was solved and specially thanked the community, their immigration solicitor, Barry Clark, and many others for all the help they have extended.
When Mrs. Harper came to meet Mark in England, she got pregnant and the couple got married while she was on her six-month temporary UK visa last year.
In July 2007, the couple met over the internet and just five months after that, they got engaged.
Eleven months after meeting, their daughter Elianna was born, and then Mrs. Harper came to know that her request to extend her visa has not been granted as officials felt that her circumstances were not compelling enough. They however appealed the ruling successfully at an immigration hearing.
