Three years back I met a girl named Oweeny De Silva, a graduate from Nipissing University. She was finally going back home to Sri Lanka and so bought a suitcase along to pack her bag and baggage. She had applied for job all across the country and to keep a record of her application, she had a spreadsheet. She had yet not met one successful job attempt and her time for stay in Canada was about to get over.
After she purchased the suitcase, her life took a positive turn and at jewelry shop at Northgate Shopping Centre. Here she was offered a job and in no time she sent all the relevant papers to Alberta where takes the processing of immigration request for post-graduate job permit.
She is currently working at the North Bay and District Multicultural Centre and has become the permanent resident of Canada.
At the multicultural centre, she came to know about the Ontario Pilot Nominee Program, which is now known by the name “Opportunities Ontario”. It permits the employers in the process of recruiting eligible and qualified foreign workers and international students and assists in accelerating the process of getting the status of permanent resident.
