Kenney said that his government has a zero-tolerance level in case of fake and dishonest immigrant agents who make false promises and cheat prospective immigrants. He said that the government wants immigrants to learn the way to protect themselves against any kind of fraud.
Minister Kenney said that the government wants immigration consultants from all over the world to know that everything would be done to protect the integrity of the immigration system of Canada.
Mainstream and ethnic Internet press will be involved in the advertising campaign which will direct people to the website of Citizenship and Immigration Canada where potential applicants will get valuable information that will assist them in finding legal migration agents and lawyers.
The campaign will run along with a video posting containing warnings in Multilanguage and the same would be posted on YouTube, CIC website and overseas missions.
