Eventful two days in Pakistan followed by visit to India

Jason Kenney, the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism in Canada, has attended official joint meeting with several key political figures in Pakistan during his visit to the country.
Speaking of the visit, Kenney said the visit has given him a valuable insight and that he also had meetings with the Pakistani-Canadian community.
Kenney said that there is an important role in Pakistani Canadians in Canada and that they are seeing more and more newcomers in Canada from Pakistan.
The prime minister of Pakistan, the minister of minorities, the foreign minister, the prime minister’s advisor, the information minister and the labour and manpower minister were present in the official meetings. A luncheon was also held in the honor of minister Kenney, which was also attended by many other government officials. Kenney believes that the meeting will help him in the process of improving immigration procedures of Canada.
The immigration department of Canada says that the government is continuing its promise to provide support to Pakistan in addressing the difficult economic and security challenges faced by the nation. In between all this, Kenney also expressed his condolences to people affected due to violence in the region.
The visit of minister Kenney in Pakistan lasted for two days and he is to continue his twelve day trip to Asia with India being then next visit on cards.
