Skilled immigrants in Canada are given the status of permanent status depending upon their qualification, level of knowledge of French or English, the experience they have in work and other basis that would help immigrants to settle comfortably and economically in Canada.
Federal Skilled Worker Program is there to help people coming to Canada (except Quebec) in providing guidelines and other related information like, form that one needs to fill to apply as a federal skilled worker. Quebec has set different criteria for selection of skilled workers and so one planning to settle in Quebec must derive the relevant information from there.
The rules related to application for federal skilled workers are subject to changes from time to time. Therefore, one must get himself equipped with recent changes and prevailing rules from the respective sites before applying as a skilled worker.
