The music of ‘Pyaar Ke Side Effects’ rocks

All Pritish Nandy films top the box office because of the different and unique ideas he uses and above all, the music in all his films rock.
Be it Jhankaar Beats, Chameli, Hazaron Khwaishein Aisi, Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena or most recently Ankahee, the music has always been a high point of all his films.
‘Pyaar Ke Side Effects’ has a unique combination of Rahul Bose and Mallika Sherawat. The film is a romantic comedy. The movie shows good promise both from the movie and music perspective.
Pritam, who has given numerous good tunes for both Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena and Ankahee recently, is the composer for the movie. The lyrics are written by Mayur Puri.
'Pyar Karke' is a hip hop song with a difference. It has hardcore Punjabi touch to it and is sung by Labh Janjua. The opening of this song is a rap by Bob and Suzy. The track is primarily identifiable by the North Indian audience. But for those people who are regular goers to the discs, language will hardly make a difference since such a number is universally accepted. Even the remix version of the track is quite happening and will surely keep the Dj’s busy for some weeks to come.
'Dil Tod Ke Na Ja' is another different and unusual track. It has a western beginning and turns into an electronic fusion qawalli and is rendered by Rakesh Pandit. He is a singer with a strong classical base and has sung in movies like ‘Kisna’, 'Maqbool' and 'Ramji Londonwaley'.
There is a remix version too that is done by DJ Kiran and DJ A-Myth. There is a surprise in store as Mika, who was in news for all the reasons, is the singer roped in for the remix. The remix version is just an average song. There is a female’s voice in the background but even that dose not makes the song extra special.
'Jaane Kya' is a mixture of semi classical and western and is a super rocking track. There is a female’s voice in the beginning of this song too and also with the flow of the track as she sings in English. It is sung by Zubin.
Kunal Ganjawala and Sunidhi Chauhan sing ‘Is This Love'. As the name suggests, it is a mushy number which is accompanied by the tune of guitar all through the song.
'Bad Boy' appears in three versions, an original, remix by DJ Sunil Spinz and with a different title 'Allah Bachaye' but the song has a great repeat value. It is a hip hop number with Alisha Chinoy as the main singer.
The album is sure to rock and so will the movie.
