Kunika enters the restaurant business

After doing a number of soaps, Kunika Lal is now planning to start her chain of restaurants. The actor is opening up a chain of four restaurants called Ten -the happy Bistro.

I must say that the vamp of small screen sure knows what to do after a fall in her career. Well, Kunika is opening the chain of restaurants along with her business partner cum architect friend Shekhar Dadarkar in the in suburban Mumbai (Goregaon).

These days, the actress is busy skipping from here to there. She is doing the interiors of the restaurant and managing her spa ‘Exhale’, also in Gurgaon. She is also doing the balancing act between social service and shooting for her new shows.

Kunika said that the chain of restaurants will be inaugurated by October and these days she is busy doing the interiors as well as deciding the multi cuisine menu. She is confident of the fact that the location of the restaurant is bound to attract people in abundance.

She had acted for a film long time back, which is now set to release soon. In ‘Shaadi Karke Phas Gaya’ she plays Shilpa Shetty's mother's friend who creates confusions in Shilpa's and Salman's marriage.

Kunika is also doing Siraj- Ud- Daulah for Doordarshan. She is also acting in ‘Saajan Ka Ghar’, a show that came on air on 27 July. In the serial, she plays the role of a politician.
